Your site is so interesting and useful that it is on my desktop where it can be clicked easily at any time. I found your site during the 2000 elections when I beathlessly awaited daylight and news from the east coast (I am on the west coast). I used it constantly when a relative was in London and we were writing e-mail messages in real time to each other. I have used it with my grandkids, showing them that if they watch patiently for a while the light and shade areas of the earth will change in front of their eyes. Election 2002 in the U.S.A. is Tues. Nov. 4 and my computer will again be linked first to your site. You are the best. Thank you. Joy

Useful site for keeping track of local time at different sites in a global organisation. Why not put Longitude in 15 degree bands on the map? Also, you could link to an atomic clock to provide a precision time link. Then we could all link our PC clocks to you via a program like "tardis". A more exhaustive list of cities would be helpful to pinpoint the local time.

Site found via: Did a search for 'Daylight Saving Time' on Yahoo
In the sidebar on the left, you have World time, Australia time, Canada time, Europe time, Oceania time, Russia time and USA time in 12-hr and 24-hr formats. But there seems to be something missing. What about Africa, Asia (Mongolia, Bhutan, Tibet, Nepal, etc.), South America, Middle East, Central America and the Carribean? How about the Commonwealth of Independent States (C.I.S. - Georgia, Byelorussia/Belarus, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan) too? Found the sun clock very useful - easy to see when it is day or night in some place or so. Keep up the good work! Party on, man!!! :)

It is useful to know at a glance the time of day or night of the area you are telephoning. When away on business, it is easy to forget that a call home at lunchtime could wake your partner up at 03:00 in the morning. It is a nice touch to be able to get "Good Morning/Evening/etc" right first time. It is also handy to know that your call could be the first of the day for a potential customer.

This site is very useful for international travellers and for teams working across multiple sites on the globe. The website is neat and has good store of information. I would like to have the live sun clock on my desktop background / screen saver. Is there one available? If not, the Sun Clock is a potential candidate for being one.

Fantastic site I just love it, being a lover of the heavens it is nice to be able to calculate when and where exciting happenings in our sky are.We can see a lot of satellites fron the southern hemisphere because our skies are so clear this has made it so much easier I thank you. An excellent site as I'm constantly trying to contact people in Australia, USA and UK. Couldn't you have included New Zealand on the Australian map though; we always get overlooked!

With friends and family all over the world, my wife and I are always "discussing" when they are awake so we can call them without disturbing their sleep. Usually I lose the conversation. NO LONGER! I just check it out beforehand and FINALLY win the talks. A real pleasure. Thanks. Also, I was not aware that the IDL stretched all the way to the EAST of Hawaii. Further I did not know of the changing times in the south pole region. Great trivia for my friends. Wonderful job.

I searched this website as I was assigned an assignment-cum-seminar about the daylight saving time that Pakistan adopted this year. I was asked to give an analysis about that. So, I used the search engines and google helped me in the long run. The Sun Clock and the list of the countries using DST was the best part of my assignment. So, I would like to thank the the team of this website who helped me a lot. Now I have added this url in my bookmark list. Now I will be visiting this site regularly. Nice Work! Keep Up!
