I believe
your depiction of the state of Alaska is incorrect. The State of Alaska is on
one time zone, it only changes when you go "out West" on the Aleutian Islands,
then only around the Island of Adak do you change to "Adak" time which is the
same as Honolulu.

Also, it would be good to be able to look up a time zone by Country.

I've been here before...
I signed this book a couple of years ago, when I was making my first attempt at webpages. Back with a new URL now, and here's a little about it:
I happened upon a multi-player wordgame called PsychoBabble (found at www.popcap.com) - It's a game that consists of two alternating screens. The first screen displays a number of 'poetry magnets' that are manipulated into a field with the mouse, the idea being to form a sentence. You have about 30 seconds to do this. The second screen displays the efforts of the other players in the room (8 to 12). The players then click on whichever entry they like best. It can be alternately funny and interesting...of course, now I can't remember any of my more sublime numbers, but this one from a couple of days ago still makes me chuckle: "Go get the gun, Mabel. We are boring!"
Scoring goes according to the voting: 1 pt for each vote, a bonus for receiving the most votes, etc. The game continues until a players has 30 or more points.
Well, around the beginning of the year I thought I would try jotting down all the winning entries on a scratch pad and using them all together in a short little story. Thus, "The Story of The Game" was born. It's one ever-expanding area of my site, which also includes my other modest attempts at creative and journalistic writing, photography, and so on. I'm also starting to build a forum that I hope will become an interesting one.
I love this site because it helps me realize what state of mind all the wonderful people I've met online all over the world are in :) I'm glad to see it's still going strong and am about to check out the "Interesting Entries of The Week" before going back to update my horoscopes...
