"We should abolish Daylight Saving Time," member of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament) Elmira Akhundova said at the parliament’s meeting today.
"The scientists have proved that Daylight Saving Time is harmful for a human health. Biorhythm of a man does not manage to react to a new time," she added.
The parliamentarian noted that a number of CIS countries have already abolished Daylight Saving Time while some countries have never advanced clocks.
"We should appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers with a request to abolish the practice of advancing clocks during the summertime," she said.
