Bolivia is considering to change Time Zone from GMT-04 to GMT-05 in the winter 2009/2010 to
prevent the spread of colds and the new seasonal influenza A strain H1N1.
It would be the first time in Bolivian history that changes the time zone.
WEST Australians have voted against DST (Daylight Saving Time) after a three-year trial which has divided the state.
Western Australia and Queensland will be only Australia states without DST.
The bill can be brought back for consideration in January 2011: The state of Montana rejects daylight saving time and elects to continue standard time in Montana throughout the year.

Brazil makes changes in time zones (June 24/25, 2008)- modifing number of time zones (from current 4 time zones to three),

DST economic and energy benefits were hard to prove...however if Korea were to consider the system, it should cooperatively join with Japan in order to cut any extra expense that could result from rearranging international flights.

DAYLIGHT saving will be extended another four weeks in NSW from year 2008- from the first Sunday in October
(October 05, 2008) to the first Sunday in April (April 05, 2009).
Victoria, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania have agreed to extend DST by a month,
from the first Sunday in October to the first Sunday in April. Tasmania will get extra 1 week of "summer time" and NSW, Vic, ACT- extra 1 month.

Team of government representatives and members of the Majlis Research Center will hold meetings during the New Year holidays to make a final decision.
MPs have proposed that the formal time in the country be adjusted forward by an hour early spring (to start March 21) and retracted in autumn by an hour.
Newfoundland and Labrador clocks will jump forward an hour on March 11, 2007-brings the province in line with similar changes in the United States and most Canadian provinces.
WESTERN Australia is planning to adopt DST in December 2006,
leaving Queensland and the Northern Territory as the only places where it won't be observed.
