Philippines
The Philippines were a Spanish colony, and most of their trade went via link from Latin America (route around the Cape Horn) keeping the Western or American date.

Narciso Claveria (the Governor General of the Philippines), announced that Monday, 30 December 1844, was to be immediately followed by Wednesday, 1 January 1845 and thus the Philippines changed its date to the Eastern (Asiatic) side.
Plus trade interests of the Philippines turned more and more away from the Latin America (around Cape Horn) and increased trade with China, the Malay peninsula, the Dutch East Indies (route around the Cape of Good Hope).
